EIGHT over 80
EIGHT OVER 80 back after a two-year hiatus, once again brings another anticipated sold-out audience to Michael’s On East. Guests will enjoy a delightful brunch (not to mention the mimosas) while hearing the inspiring stories of this year’s eight worthy honorees. 2019’s honorees were Victoria Brown, Mickey Fine, Carolyn Kaplan, Marion Levine, Barbara Lupoff, Alfred Rose, Nancy Schlossberg, and Mary Ann and Ted Simon. Mark your calendars … this season’s Eight Over 80 will be held on
Sunday, March 13, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Michael’s On East.
KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE
AVIVA SENIOR LIVING is the fulfillment of a dream: a caring community of seniors, founded on Jewish values and welcoming to all. At the heart of those values, is the obligation to take care of others. Tradition teaches that compassion and kindness are required of us — especially toward those who are vulnerable. The Jewish Housing Council’s founders had the foresight to know that some members of the community would need financial assistance. Helping them was always part of the dream. Through the Benevolent Care Program, funds are made available to qualified residents, making it possible for them to remain at the place they call home, Aviva — and keeping alive the founder’s dream of a just, compassionate, benevolent community.
