Dear Friends,

You can make a difference in the life of a senior at Aviva Senior Living, today!

Imagine the life of our most elderly and vulnerable residents as they experience the changes that have come upon us because of the COVID-19 virus.  Anxiety, loneliness, and isolation are only a few of the things they are feeling.  The family visits they counted on are no longer possible.  They eat alone in their apartments because the dining room is closed.  There are no programs or activities to fill their days and stimulate their minds.  COVID-19 has changed everything.

Our frontline healthcare workers and staff strive daily to keep this aging population safe and healthy.  Aviva is experiencing extraordinary expenses to accomplish this goal.  Cleaning costs have skyrocketed, PPE is out of sight and our staffing needs are constantly changing as we monitor our campus.  Now is the time to help these Jewish elders who have given so much to our community in the past.

To mitigate these escalating costs, we have launched the Aviva COVID-19 Emergency Fund.  We are asking for your support to help us achieve our goal of keeping these seniors as safe as possible, protected and out of harm’s way during this pandemic. Every dollar you give goes to this objective.  With your gift, you are helping to fund: PPE equipment for our dedicated healthcare professionals, door security and communication systems, enhanced cleaning and anti-bacterial supplies, equipment for temperature checks, and other essential safety items.

Today we have good news! Any gift you give up to $500 will be matched 1:1 by the Louis and Gloria Flanzer Philanthropic Trust. Please help by clicking below and entering your gift on the Flanzer Trust website.  Designate Aviva as the recipient.  For assistance call Lynne Georgette at 941 203 6237 or email
