No, an entrance fee is not required. Aviva is a 100% rental senior living community.

Your monthly rent covers all living expenses you would normally have if you were to live on your own including lawn care, utilities, housekeeping services, home maintenance and repairs, telephone, internet and more. In addition, all residents have access to our services and amenities, including but not limited to:

No two days are the same here at Aviva! Kobernick residents maintain their own individual schedules which often feature fitness classes, meals with friends, onsite lectures and concerts, resident clubs, walks along our tropical walking paths, trips to Sarasota’s many cultural venues and gourmet resturants, or even just some quiet time at home. No matter what you like to do, you can find it here at Aviva!
Of course! Your furry family members are welcomed at Aviva. For Kobernick, we maintain a weight limit for pets of 30 pounds. Bringing your pet is an easy process. Working with our Move-In Coordinator, you will be asked to fill out a pet application, provide your pet’s health records, and pay our community pet fee. Please note, that residents are expected to fully care for their pets including providing regular exercise, feeding, and keeping our community clean from pet messes. We also kindly ask that all pet owners make arrangements with family or friends to care for their pet in the event they are unable to.
The cost of living at Aviva varies according to your apartment’s floor plan, finishes and size. All apartments are designed with modern features including walk-in closets, full kitchens, secure storage and more. Most apartments have a screened-in lanai so that you can enjoy Florida’s beautiful weather, year-round. We offer a variety of floor plans so that you can find one that best suits your lifestyle.

At Aviva Senior Living, we offer a full continuum of care. This means that we accommodate residents who require different levels of care both now and in the future, making a seamless living transition should care needs change.

  • Kobernick House is our 187 apartment, independent living facility.
  • Anchin Assisted Living is designed for those who need a little extra help day-to-day, but are largely still independent.
  • Anchin Memory Care offers unique care designed to help residents living with dementia or other types of memory loss.
  • Benderson Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation provides both long-term residential care and short stay rehabilitation.
