# Local ABC-7 News Talent is an Eight Over 80 Honoree

ABC-7â²s Linda Carson was one of this yearâs âEight Over 80â³ honorees. Â The awards were presented March 10th at Michaelâs On East. The Suncoast View talk show host and community icon was honored by **Aviva** for her volunteerism and impact on the Sarasota community. In addition to a broadcasting career spanning more than six decades, Carson was noted for her volunteer work for Tidewell Hospice, serving on the board of the Circus Arts Conservatory, and heading up the âBud Carson Scholarship Award,â named for her late husband.
