Benderson

Aviva provides on-site therapy services tailored to your level of care. Our skilled therapy team will work in your apartment for Independent Living residents, ensuring your space meets your needs. Residents at Anchin Assisted Living, Anchin Memory Care, and Benderson Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation can utilize our specialized therapy gyms with targeted equipment and tools. Our rehabilitation team offers daily exercises, one-on-one sessions, and skilled physical, occupational, and speech therapy for those in skilled nursing. Benderson Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center provides compassionate one-on-one therapies, available six days a week. With access to rehabilitation on the same campus, our residents experience excellent results in a short time, with low hospital returns and high rates of returning home.

Physical

Physical therapy, also known as physiotherapy, may include certain exercises, massages, and treatments based on physical stimuli (e.g., heat, cold, electrical currents, or ultrasound). The aim of physical therapy is to relieve pain, help you move better, or strengthen weakened muscles.

Occupational

Occupational therapy intervention uses everyday life activities (occupations) to promote health, well-being, and your ability to participate in the important activities in your life. This includes any meaningful activity that a person wants to accomplish, including taking care of yourself and your family, working, volunteering, going to school, among many others.

Speech

Speech therapy can help people who have difficulty speaking to communicate better and to break down the barriers that result from speech impediments. The goals of speech therapy include improving pronunciation, strengthening the muscles used in speech, and learning to speak correctly.
