Hot Club SRQ is one of the Southeast’s premier Gypsy Jazz ensembles, praised as “swinging, versatile, and refined.” Inspired by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, the trio blends Jazz Manouche and acoustic string swing with irresistible energy and charm. Led by Keven Aland (violin/vocals) with Jon McLaughlin (guitar) and Glenn Stevenson (bass), the group brings over a decade of musical chemistry to the stage. Their dynamic repertoire ranges from Gypsy Jazz to Latin, modern jazz, and the Great American Songbook, creating performances that are both exhilarating and timeless.

Aviva is honored to continue Ernie’s legacy through our newly named annual concert series.
