Aviva presents Tom Purviance

Thomas Purviance has been a leading presence in Sarasota’s music scene since 2015. He has performed with organizations including the Steinway Society of Sarasota, MusicaViva, and the Pops Orchestra of Sarasota and Bradenton, where he appeared as soloist in Rhapsody in Blue. Acclaimed for his interpretations of Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff, his performances have drawn praise for their virtuosity and passion. An active educator and adjudicator, he currently maintains a private piano studio specializing in adult and senior instruction.

Ernie’s passion for the arts, particularly music, has helped support dozens of performances and artists throughout Sarasota. Aviva is honored to continue Ernie’s legacy through our newly named annual concert series.
