Enjoy the Golden Years with 3 Tips

1. Find Your New Routine
It's all about setting goals for your golden years. Reduce your stress level and eliminate
unnecessary steps throughout your daily routine. Take some time and make a list of your
commitments and obligations, then plan out strategically your daily and weekly routines that will
save you time. Instead of a career that previously laid out many of your goals, now it's up to you to
decide what's important to do.
2. Make a Game Plan
Giving back to the community is a great way to find a sense of purpose and make a difference in
your area. No matter where you live, there's always a cause you may be passionate about and
volunteer for. Plan to be more active too. The healthier and more able you keep yourself, the more
things you'll be able to accomplish.
3. Create the Right Mindset
Many experience anxiety when it comes to what to do in retirement. You have to create a new
mindset and routine. Make a list of the things you would like to do for the day or the whole week.
Perhaps you want to work on your golf swing or find ways to be active in your community. Set
your goals and live out your dream!
Relax and enjoy the ride. Try out different things, your golden years will live up to the hype if you
give it a shot! At Aviva, we’re committed to your health and holistic wellness with a wide range of
services located directly on campus. Learn more on our Levels of Care page
